FUTRHOMES, LLC operates as a collective in Charlotte, NC. Our primary focus is to develop attractive, efficient, modern homes at market pricing. The homes will feature Smart Technologies and Eco-efficiencies throughout.
The FUTRHOMES Team
Vincent Black, Founder, started the idea of FUTRHOMES in 2013 and is the principal designer for the offerings. He has been in the Technology Field since 1994. FUTRHOMES is a culmination of his artistic and design talents, blended with his technical expertise.
Joe Wilson, Founder of Promise Buildings, is a twenty-seven-year experienced expert in the prefab modular building industry. Joe’s past responsibilities have included the design of modular complexes conforming to various code requirements, working closely with Architects and Engineers, sourcing cutting edge materials and designs, and maintaining the associated Project Management responsibilities.

Smart Homes are all the rage! With the proliferation of smart speaker devices like Amazon Echo or Google Home, it is only a matter of time when these home automation technologies will become standards in any new home construction project. However, featuring this 21st Century Technology in homes that have not changed designs since the 19th Century seems oddly out of sorts. That is why FUTRHOMES, LLC is partnering with Promise Buildings LLC, an experienced modular builder in the Charlotte Area to construct our new generation of homes showcasing smart technologies and a modern aesthetic that's an amalgam of Scandinavian and Japanese minimalism with a mid-century and craftsman flair, which we call “Neo-Century Modern” or MODERNO. To achieve this, FUTRHOMES will marry more commonly available components with effective modular building techniques that will result in a luxurious home without the extreme luxury price tag. By choosing to go modular, FUTRHOMES will be able to have better product and price controls for our offerings.
